Our Angel Bears are given to patients who are suffering from life threatening diseases to give them hope and courage throughout their battle with cancer. The Angel Bear will be there with them during treatments, at night when they are alone, during tests, and any other time they need comfort giving the gift of hope one bear at a time.

Angel Bears of Hope is a registered and recognized 501(c) 3 Charitable Organization in the State of Illinois. Your donations are 100% tax free.

Launch a smile with an Angel Bear! Angel Bears make kids smile and that's what we are going for. Here are a few of the Angel Bear recipients.

Angel Bears come in a big box, volunteers then put them in smaller boxes and drive them to various hospitals around the United States.

If you are traveling near or far and want to help out please call us. We are always looking for drivers on business trips or vacations throughout the United States. We call the hospital ahead of time so that staff are prepared for your arrival. Occasionally volunteers get to hand the bears out themselves!

We rely on volunteers that donate their time and talents, we couldn't do it without them! If you are interested in helping out Angel Bears of Hope please contact us today!

Our Founder, Maralee Halterman, is a 27 year cancer survivor who was told by her doctors that she would not live through her cancer. Not only did Maralee prove them wrong, but she vowed that to the best of her ability, those lives affected with cancer will not have to face it without something to hold on to and to love…Angel Bears of Hope was born. Your generous donations to Angel Bears of Hope will continue to purchase the Angel Bears for those people who are fighting the same struggles as Maralee did 27 years ago. So many lives are touched every day by Angel Bears of Hope. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Angel Bears of Hope is a registered and recognized 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Organization in the State of Illinois.

Over the past 25 years, Angel Bears of Hope have touched the lives of hundreds of cancer patients bringing them hope and love one bear at a time. Here are some of the hospitals we have visited and what the staff has had to say about us!
